You can demand your money back. I had this problem a few months ago with my son and i was given a full refund and free haircuts by another hairdresser until his hair was to standard as there was no was i was shaving his hair. The manger also gave my son money for a cap.

no it's probally a mis communication on your part. %26amp; no one made you go to that hair dresser it was your choice. %26amp; you're a guy it will grow back in a matter of what 2 weeks?

Did you refuse to pay, I wonder, or make any sort of complaint at the time? If you did then that would strengthen any case you might have, but even so legal action would probably be a bit strong. You would risk being classed as wasting the Court's time and getting costs awarded against you. You first course of action would definitely be to go back to the salon, speak to the manager or owner and give them a chance to try to put it right.

No, unfortunately there is no legal requirement for a hairdresser to be qualified/trained or registered in the UK, not sure about anywhere else. You'll just have to learn from the experience, don't go back there. Ask a friend for a recommendation, that's the best way to find a hairdresser.

Go back to the shop explain that your unhappy and ask them to sort out the problem (if possible).

If you get no joy there go to the CAB for guidance.

yes, but you would probably be better off asking for your money back and getting it fixed.

you are under no obligation to pay in the uk, for such services, or even for a bad meal.

***edit, there's only a week growth between a good and bad hairdo anyhow, and I don't think I've ever had a good hairdo. Get yourself a nice trendy fur hat!
